Drivers are being hassled for not having masks.  Reports are that Texas is writing tickets with a $1000 fine. We are doing are part for the war effort on the home front by making masks for truckers.

I find it outrageous that hard-working truckers can't get a meal on the road.  Everyone else gets to go through the drive-through, but the big-rig just won't fit.  And the drive-throughs don't allow walk-up service. Please feed these folks.  They are busting ass to bring you the goods.

While the rest of us are hunkered down in our homes, millions of drivers remain on the road.  Virus or not, we still need food, fuel and medicine.  The crops still need to be harvested and delivered.  The truckers are still out there, away from their homes and families, making it happen for us.

I hear the term “Big Brother” a lot lately, most often referring to technology in transportation. Telematics, ELDs and in-cab-cameras all carry the Big Brother stigma in the malevolent, overbearing and Orwellian sense of the word.
